ENTERTAINMENT Instructions
2009 -- Thank you for participating in the 4TH OF JULY THE BERKELEY MARINA on Saturday, July 4. We are looking forward to having you come and spend the day with all of us in a great setting. The marina may sometimes be a bit windy or chilly so be prepared!
To get to the Marina, take the University Avenue exit off I-80 in Berkeley and head toward the Bay. There is a stop sign after a row of colored banners on the center median strip. Bear left at the stop sign. The locations are about 200 feet further. Event HQ is on Univ. Ave. past the small store.
Set Up/Parking: You may park in any of the regular parking lots. Please do not park in the city's maintenance area or in red zones as the police will give you a ticket. One half hour before you are about to perform, you may pull into the lot east of the stage then pull onto the pedestrian path up to the stage. Off load and then move your car to a lot. When you are finished performing, pack up you gear and wait until the incoming band moves their car. You may then pull your car in to load up and when you have finished please immediately move your car into one of the other vendor lots. You are welcome to stay in the vendor lots for the day but not near the stage.
Your performance schedule includes 15 minutes to set up. However, you can set up equipment near the stage while you wait. And we do expect you to start on time. There is a ramp to wheel gear onto the stage.
You cannot move your vehicle out of the marina between 7PM and 10:30PM due to street closure for pedestrians. Hang out, have dinner, and watch the fireworks!
Electricity: Bring your own 25' extension cords with 3-prongs. No cut off prongs or cracked cords, please. We do not provide any sound equipment. We will provide a canopy and a 16' x 24' stage.

Payment will be made at the event along with a food voucher for each person in your band. If we miss you, check in at the HQ booth.
